Some 30 years (and 14 days) since we played Crystal Palace at Plough Lane, we’re back in front of the fans in Wimbledon again. To all the members, fans and volunteers and everyone who believed, THANK YOU! #WeAreWimbledon #WeAreHome

Happy birthday @VinnieJones65 Vinnie donated his 1988 FA Cup winners medal to the club and it is now proudly on display in the Cherry Red Records Stadium, Plough Lane, yards up the road from where Vinnie first donned the yellow & blue in the top flight. Many happy returns, Vin 🎂

Today @AFCWimbledon should have been playing Bury. We're not. Good luck to @ForeverBury and all Bury fans as they try to secure their club's continued existence. A football club's soul is in the collective memories and dreams of its supporters, not on a balance sheet.

Twenty years ago today, Wimbledon’s football club took to the field as AFC Wimbledon for the first time, taking on Sutton United at Gander Green Lane in front of a full house of 4,657. The Dons lost 4-0 but something special had been reborn…

Absolutely incredible effort from all those involved in pulling off the #PloughLaneBond and getting us closer to returning home. Hardly anyone could imagine it would reach that magic £5m! Take a bow 👏👏👏👏 ploughlanebond.com

Happy anniversary to us! 20 years ago today fans congregated at Wimbledon Theatre to form the Dons Trust. We’ve since reformed a club, regained our place in the league, built a £32m stadium and more - all thanks to our fans, members and volunteers. Join us thedonstrust.org/join-the-trust

And we’re off! With construction of our new Plough Lane stadium well underway it’s time to say goodbye to KM - but there are some things we just couldn’t leave behind. Pictured below is the Dons Trust kiosk making the short journey to our new home in #Wimbledon. See you there!

Something has been lost in the most famous competition in Football today. The essence of the FA cup has always been that the underdog could meet a team way out of their league and just maybe beat them or bring them back home for their fans. Like this
