Mate, it took all of two seconds …

Mate, do you know how long I’ve been transsexual? Over 30 years. During that time nobody, I repeat, NOBODY, has wanted me not to exist. NOBODY has EVER wished me dead. You cling on to this fetishised victimhood like a malodorous limpet on the blistered backside of humanity

Plenty idea. You'd have us not exist. Plenty of you outright want us dead.

‘This irrational fear that trans women are somehow going to attack women in public restrooms …’
    Replying to @Eric_Biggz @DanniBrener and @Defo_not_Dave
And that's what makes you transphobic this irrational fear that trans women are somehow going to attack women in public restrooms. This was the same argument made during racial segregation against black women that's what you sound like a southern bigot

Blackman, I’ve been a ‘trans’ person for over 30 years, nothing’s stopping me from getting married or dying with dignity. What GRA reform will do is give autogynephiles, fetishists and perpetrators of sexual assault a carte blanche to enter female spaces. It’s a rapists’ charter.
👏 GRA reform will let trans people get married and die with dignity.

I’m transsexual, @MaggieChapman, have been for 30+ years so, from both personal and academic experience, I have far more knowledge on these issues than you. Despite penile-inversion surgery and synthetic hormone treatment I remain, immutably and irreversibly, a biological male.
  • user avatar
Mate, not only have I talked to so-called ‘trans’ people, I actually am one! How about that! I’ve been transsexual for 30 years, written about it for longer than I care to remember, probably longer than you’ve been alive. In short, chum, I’ve forgotten more than you’ll ever know.
    Replying to @Strobe_Lightly and @DrVicFielding
have you ever talked to a trans person? I know the answer is no, so I hope you wake up from your hateful tirade and realize that you don't know anything about anyone

Asking people whether or not they agree with @jk_rowling is as futile as publishing a poll on whether the earth is or isn’t flat. There’s no debate, it’s not a matter of fact, not touchy-feely opinion. The earth is an irregularly-shaped ellipsoid and Willoughby is male. End of.

The more I hear from this tribunal, the more it resembles a rape trial. The victim, in this case Ms Peggie, has her character torn to bits through irrelevant and frequently mendacious questioning whilst the perpetrator, Theodore Upton, despite his clear guilt, is absolved.

As an actual transsexual, Michael, let me explain to you just how much you’re talking out your arse. I had surgery and hormone treatment 30 years ago, neither of which magically or medically alter the fact that I was, am and always will be a biological male.

Women. They are women. I’d explain but it’s clear you don’t care.

Sorry, this is a long one but I need to get to vent! I’m transsexual, @carolinenokes, I ‘transitioned’ 30 years ago, in Scotland, before even the GRC existed. It was, quite rightly, a prolonged process which took four years from initial consultation to surgery. 1/10

Indeed, Leonard. I’m transsexual, have been for 30+ years. Perhaps you could explain to me what rights I’m denied that every other UK citizen enjoys. The answer, is of course, none. Indeed, in the UK, so-called ‘transwomen’ enjoy privileges and influence women can only dream of.

I’m transsexual, Doran, have been for 30+ years so I can tell you, from that wealth of personal and academic experience, that ALL so-called ‘transwomen’ are pretending to be women, most of them VERY badly. They - and I - perform male-perceived iterations of femininity.

Here's a funny thing, Perry. Last Thursday I, a transsexual of considerable vintage, stepped up before a huge crowd to recieve my PhD. Nobody booed, nobody turned their backs on me, they all cheered, as they did for every other student. Nobody has ever debated my right to exist.
Folks aren’t actually debating bathrooms and pronouns. They’re debating people’s right to exist in public.
