After 12 good years on Twitter and one horrible year of Elon Musk's X-cesspit, I'm hanging up my Twitter-boots. Musk's troll army will have to find someone else to abuse. I might return someday, but in the meantime I'm at Threads. I'll leave you with a recap of my fav moments👇🏻

Rupert Murdoch has lost a President, two Prime Ministers, a wife, and a son from the family business in the space of two years. Good times.

Can’t stop thinking about the fact Hillsong Church had enough RATs to test all their summer camp attendees, but I have friends who are healthcare workers and teachers who don’t have any. This country is broken.

I only saw a few seconds of the video of Morrison washing a woman’s hair and I’m totally creeped out by it. In fact, it made my skin crawl so much I recoiled. Is it just me, or is this a really inappropriate thing for a Prime Minister to do? It makes me feel really uncomfortable.

Dutton is claiming he walked out on the apology because he didn’t feel Australia had done enough to close the gap for Indigenous people, and we should do more before we apologised. Anyone who believes that, I’ve got a bridge to sell you.

Watching Penny Wong on #Insiders and being reminded that not only will she be Australia’s best ever minister for foreign affairs, but she’s also the clearest communicator in Australian politics.

So, have I got this right? Sam Dastyari had to resign because he was given $1000 donation from someone he knew, but Porter is fine and dandy to be donated $1,000,000 from people who remain anonymous to him? I don’t understand why there are different rules for different sides?

Can’t help but notice that when Jordan Shanks tried to tell everyone there were some issues with how John Barilaro behaved in politics, none of the rest of the media backed him up, and he was the one who was sued for defamation. What happened to reporting without fear or favour?

It’s pretty funny that arrogant men like Peter van Onselen have rushed out to show they don’t understand the symbolism of Grace Tame’s steely glare at the Prime Minister. PVO doesn’t understand Grace is all us women staring at MEN LIKE HIM, WHO DESERVE NO RESPECT.

Just heard Morrison telling the 15,000 anti-vax protestors in Canberra to take their anger out on states because federal govt doesn’t have power to mandate vaccines. Typical snake-like behaviour - instead of standing up for states he throws them under the bus. Can’t trust him.

If you’re not watching #Insiders, I can confirm Dutton was interviewed and wasn’t asked one question about the Friendly Jordies investigation.

👉🏻We were told to get vaccinated. Scott didn’t buy enough. 👉🏻We’re told to get tested when we’re exposed. There aren’t enough PCR appts. 👉🏻We’re told to get boosted. No bookings over Christmas. 👉🏻We’re told to avoid PCRs and get RAT instead. No RATs. 👉🏻See why we’re angry? 🤬

As the election draws nearer, I am worried sick with flashbacks of 2019. I don’t think I’ll ever get over the horror of that vote count. I have seen the polls, and I understand the optimism. But I’m too damaged by what happened last time to allow myself any hope! One week left 🤞🏻

Dan Andrews has announced GPs and pharmacists will be given grants to go into schools and do vaccination clinics. This is the sort of proactive policy making that is just not happening on a federal level. Always left up to (Labor) states.
