We used Covid-19 shutdown to do projects that would’ve been inconvenient for residents regularly (street paving, park renovations etc). One project was ripping up the 1960s vinyl floor at city hall. We thought we’d find garbage but instead we found the original from 100 yrs ago

- Valentina - first your brother WAS an “at-will” employee for the city - as of tomorrow he no longer works there bc he doesn’t reflect the values of the city. Second, You can see how strongly I feel about the LGBTQ community and I’ll share the text messages we exchanged so ppl
00:44🚨@StevenFulop it’s ILLEGAL to threaten your employees. Huge lawsuit incoming. God & the truth are with us. - Gov Murphy… this is out of touch. You have potential ICE Raids as the Governor of the most diverse state in the country, you have potential attacks on the LGBtQ community, you have a president that doesn’t prioritize the environment…. And you prioritize congestion pricing whichToday I sent a letter to President Trump urging his Administration to reexamine New York’s congestion pricing scheme. Congestion pricing is a disaster for New Jersey commuters and must receive the close look it deserves from the federal government.Readers added contextGovernor Murphy claims that congestion pricing “has never been well-designed or adequately studied”. This is false. The MTA conducted an extensive 4,000 page environmental study evaluating the impacts of congestion pricing. Source: new.mta.info/document/93456
- This is my aunt (my mom’s sister). We had 35 members of our immediate family taken to Auschwitz + 7 survived. This was a nice surprise to see this post from @AuschwitzMuseum + may all of their memories live forever. #NeverForget2 July 1942 | A Hungarian Jewish girl, Eva Kohn, was born. In 1944 she was deported to #Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber.
- This is directly related to supply increases we have created. We have been unapologetically pro growth both market and affordable units despite political pushback at times. After Years of Increases, Study Says Jersey City’s Rents Are Falling: buff.ly/1pvpbKP #NewJersey #RealEstate
- This was a massive missed opportunity for NJ to have been smart in how the state approached congestion pricing. If the state was strategic we would have been able to gain funding for NJT, encourage mass transit for the region + move away from a car centric culture for the“In a nutshell, denied,” U.S. Senior Judge Leo Gordon said, rejecting New Jersey’s arguments for a delay of the tolls. - Another step towards the end... I just went to a supermarket by my in-laws and this..... They have this robot named “Marty” that cruises around the store - up and down aisles reporting things that spilled or out of normal. #YangGang @AndrewYang has a point about robots.
00:00 - Welcome Stasha Mae Fulop to the world. Stassi is 7lb 6oz. Jaclyn is doing great and I’m absolutely in love with this little girl.
- NJ may actually have an upset. This is prob great news for Jack’s team as we are a society that likes underdogs and comebacks by nature. This is prob the last public poll. FYI In the 2025 update of pollster ratings by Silver Bulletin (which is associated with Nate Silver’s team),AtlasIntel poll | 10/25-10/30 New Jersey Governor 🟦Mikie Sherrill 50.2% 🟥Jack Ciattarelli 49.3%
- Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day. The baby is Eva. My Aunt. She was put in the gas chamber not long after this pic w/my grandparents. I had 35 in my family taken to Auschwitz, 7 survived. Afterwards, my family came to the USA bc it was a place of tolerance/hope #NeverForget
- I’m Jewish and proud to live in a community like #JerseyCity that has always welcomed everyone. It is the home of #EllisIsland and has always been the golden door to America. Hate and anti-semitism have never had a place here in JC and will never have a place in our city,
- I told @AndyKimNJ it’s not always comfortable to admit a mistake but clearly I made one here and this convention season has demonstrated he is the better candidate to represent NJ. The backbone of our party volunteers and activists have spoken loudly and we should listen toBreaking: Jersey City Mayor @StevenFulop has rescinded his endorsement of Tammy Murphy for U.S. Senate and will support @AndyKimNJ in the Democratic primary. newjerseyglobe.com/congress/fulop…
- Today’s game changes very little for us. We couldn’t be prouder of @PeacocksMBB + we’ll 100% do a parade/keys to the city for this team to say THANK YOU properly from all of us in #JerseyCity + NJ. You showed the best of our city to the world + we ❤️ you for that.
- Veteran Issues are a passion of mine not only because I served but because I feel such personal gratitude to the “greatest generation” before us that served. Over the last year we raised $30k to renovate our VFW Post in #JerseyCity and today was opening/appreciation day.
