    When we look at Auschwitz we see the end of the process. It's important to remember that the Holocaust actually did not start from gas chambers. This hatred gradually developed from words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanisation & escalating violence.

    We can see a lot of 'Auschwitz' mentions recently. Remember that a preserved historic site does not equal a statue erected to honor a person. The two have entirely different roles, contexts, messages & meanings. Drawing a simple comparison here is incorrect.

    The Holocaust happened. It is a fact, not an opinion. Holocaust deniers are not people who have a different opinion. They are liars.

    When you come to @AuschwitzMuseum remember you are at the site where over 1 million people were killed. Respect their memory. There are better places to learn how to walk on a balance beam than the site which symbolizes deportation of hundreds of thousands to their deaths.

    It is so hard to find words... This is why every single day we work hard to educate. We need to explain what is the danger of hateful ideology rising. Auschwitz with its gas chambers was at the very end of the long process of normalizing and accommodating hatred.

    Exploiting the tragedy of people who became victims of criminal pseudo-medical experiments in Auschwitz in a debate about vaccines, pandemic and people who fight for saving human lives is shameful. It is disrespectful to victims & a sad symptom of moral and intellectual decline.

    A heart-breaking moment saved in an SS picture of deportations of Hungarian Jews at Auschwitz II-Birkenau. It was taken 79 years ago, most likely in late May 1944. A little child found a dandelion in the grass and is handing it or showing it to an older boy. All the people in
