    Juvenile Court Judge Lawrence Moniz convicted Carter last year of causing the death of Conrad Roy III back in 2014, because she not only encouraged him to kill himself but told him to get back in his truck as it was filling with deadly CO. The evidence for that last bit was this:

    Women gained a net of 3 seats in the RI Senate in this week's election, which means it will no longer be majority-male in January. The gender split will be exactly even: 19 women and 19 men, per my count

    Carter’s defense attorney just argued to the SJC that there’s not enough evidence that she told Roy to get back in the truck, since it happened during a phone call. The evidence is the text she sent to her friend Sam after his death.
