    Life update: After three years working in Boston, and seven years in New England, I’m heading home ☺️ I’ve accepted an anchor/reporter job at @6abc in Philly. If you know me, you know this is a dream come true. I grew up watching Channel 6. I am thrilled to be joining the team!

    PA Gov. Josh Shapiro is home in Montgomery County tonight, playing basketball w/his son, as we wait to hear if he is Kamala Harris’ running mate. Shapiro is one of the finalists said to be under consideration. Harris’ first stop w/her pick will be in Philadelphia tomorrow. @6abc

    I am so thankful for my incredible husband, who called 911 within minutes of the onset of my stroke - who slept with me in a small hospital bed all week - and who held my hand for every early morning round of bloodwork. Feeling tired, bruised & so lucky for this life and man♥️

    On a stretcher - waiting for a CT scan - doctors said "you've had a stroke." My world stopped. One of my first thoughts - "Will I ever report/anchor again?" 37 days later, I did. Thank you to my colleagues at @wpri12 for your support. I'm happy to say I'll see you tomorrow♥️

    This time last year, I was waiting for a bed in the neuro-ICU. I had just been diagnosed with a stroke. We were terrified. Today, we are grateful and celebrating. Life is so good ♥️ “I am better off healed than I ever was unbroken.” #strokesurvivor
