    We're thrilled the government is calling for the industry to develop plastic-free wipes! Wet wipes are one of the biggest causes of sewer blockages, which can have a huge impact on the environment & the quality of our bathing waters #BeautyOfTheBeach

    Repairs to the pipe in #Hastings area are complete & we're now recharging the network. This will take a few hours as it's a very large pipe and complex burst. We’re sorry for the disruption caused while our #keyworkers do everything they can to keep water running during lockdown.

    We’re pleased to say we’re seeing water supplies increasing and stable in #SouthHampshire, which means we've started putting more water through our network. You should begin to see your water supply returning through the morning.

    1/2 We’re really proud to have worked through the night alongside @Hants_fire tackling the #OcadoFire in #Andover, #Hampshire. We supplied over 2 million gallons of water from our network to help fight the fire – enough to make around 6 million cups of tea!

    We’ve fixed the burst on the #IsleofSheppey and are slowly refilling the network, to protect the water quality. Please check all your taps are off in case your supply returns in the night. Discoloured water is normal after a burst, isn't harmful and usually clears in 24-48hrs.

    Have you seen the huge #fatberg our friends at @SouthWestWater have been busy clearing from Devon's sewers? 😱 Avoid blockages by only flushing the 3ps and binning fat, oil, grease and #TheUnflushables.

    Devon’s largest #fatberg has been discovered in Sidmouth. It's a whopping 64 metres long, that's over 6 double-decker buses back-to-back 🚌🚌🚌🚌🚌🚌😷 #ThinkSink 👉 Don't pour cooking oil, fat and grease down the sink #LoveYourLoo 👉 Only flush the #3Ps - pee, paper and poo

    Operator Graham found a whiskered bat in a bit of a flap recently, at our #Barcombe treatment works. He scooped it up, made a comfortable bed for the little guy and called the @_BCT_ where it's been recovering from a broken tail. Well done to all involved 🦸‍♂️ #FridayFeeling

    Thanks for the patience of customers in #TN31 #TN33 #TN34 #TN35 #TN37 #TN38. Repairs to the burst nearby is now complete and water is starting to flow through our treatment site and to homes. This will take time and we’re continuing to deliver water to vulnerable customers.
