- I love how much Gunn loves casting his friends just so he can either violently kill them off or make them look as dumb as possibleSuperman (2025)
GIF - How are people forgetting the sacred text that is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2Recent James Gunn movies having that one scene that makes you want the villain to die a horrible and brutal death
- We gotta kill Jimmy frI ended up really liking Eve. Lowkey the MVP.
GIF - They are though. Flag is a manipulative piece of shit in both shows, he says he cares about the Creature Commandos and then gets them killed just because he was horny for a fascist. He says he’s sorry to arrest Superman, but he does it anyway and then continues to work for Lex…Simply put just not the same character
- Seeing this scene in theaters was life affirmingI rewatched Little Shop of Horrors in theaters and they played the director’s cut without advertising it, and it caught me so off guard, wonderful experience
- There’s nothing worse than when someone follows this up with a question about a movie you’ve never seen beforegetting hit with the “since you’re the film dude…” at social gatherings
GIF - I think it’s beautiful that the finale is mostly just shit like this and then a Foxy Shazam concert, James Gunn has never James Gunn’d this hard before, it’s so goodPeacemaker Season 2, 2025
GIF - Back in 2021 Gunn said he didn’t want to make Superman because someone else will tell that story but no one will tell Polka-Dot Man’s, so it’s clear the story clicked for him when Pa Kent became inspired by his dad, Krypto became his dog, and Lois became his self insert characterI’m kinda confused by Gunn saying that Krypto was the thing that made the project click for him because the dog has no thematic relevance and he’s not even Clark’s dog. Very odd choice.
- Apparently people don’t know that Diego Luna plays Michael Jackson in a Harmony Korine film (Mister Lonely)
- All of Gunn’s work post TSS has been fantastic, but The Suicide Squad will probably remain his best film until the end of time, simply because it’s the film he was born to makeJames Gunn set the bar so insanely high with The Suicide Squad as his first DC Project that i’m now afraid he’ll never reach those heights again
- My theater has a thing where if you donate to charity you can get a full size movie poster and it’s amazing
