    It's with great sadness I bring you the news #totalsport legend Albert Matthewson has passed away. He kept calling the show right til the end. Loved @bbcnewcastle & loved football, but most of all loved #nufc. RIP Albert. We are all devastated. You will be hugely missed by many.

    Thanks for all the messages regarding @marco_ten .... I am sure the man himself will respond soon, but just to let you know he is out the other side and all seems to have gone well. Mrs G says they are overwhelmed by kind messages and she can't believe he's so popular....

    In 2018, Albert went to the #nufc training ground & interviewed Rafa: bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-eng… He said it was one of the best days of his life. And I think he meant it!

    The treble drop can not now happen! It's official. #safc are mathematically safe from League One relegation following that last-gasp draw at Wycombe. The rot has officially stopped! Onwards and upwards! (I've just worked it out). #totalsport
