Roe v. Wade was decided on my 29th birthday- now I am 78 and they overturned it and rolled back 50 years of progress. But they just awakened a new generation of women and this grandma can't wait to help them change the world once and for all.

There was a young man running for Senate who got 6 mil+ views last week for smoking a joint. Please. I’m a 78 year grandma who legalized pot and now has her own cannibis store. And I’m the last thing standing between The GOP and total control of Virginia. That’s worth an RT!

Glenn Youngkin’s party just opened a “Republicans only” veterans center in Virginia Beach. I remember 30 years ago when the same people involved in this were arguing for clubs that were whites only. New branding, same goals.

All of Glenn Youngkin’s bills to limit abortion rights come to my committee. I put them straight into my trash can.

Some Republicans don't like me tweeting from the Senate floor. Well I don't like them trying to limit our rights to abortion, putting dangerous weapons on our streets, trying to take away people's health care or refusing to admit they lost an election. So I guess we are even.

Thank goodness we finally have a President who is looking out for the American people and is a tough-as-nails negotiator.

Election Day is now a holiday in Virginia. We took the holiday named for Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee, cancelled that crap and moved it to Election Day. RT if you are ready to celebrate this holiday in 2022.

Please take a moment and remember the name Heather Heyer today. It's been five years since we lost her to white nationalist violence in Charlottesville. We will never forget her bravery to be there that day standing up for her community and basic human rights.

I cast my first vote against a ban on same sex marriage in 1996. We lost 38-2 with only myself and Senator Whipple voting no. Estatic that our country has evolved to where this is now a mainstream position even upheld by a right wing Supreme Court.
BREAKING: Supreme Court declines to revisit same-sex marriage ruling

I saw the Washington Post editorial on redistricting today and this is my official response.

I was put here for this moment. Buckle Up Glenn.

I had to stay up until midnight to see the first day in American history with a black woman on the Supreme Court. 🎉 RT if you are as excited for Justice Jackson as I am! ♥️

Glenn Youngkin was very upset when there were press stories about his son attempting to vote illegally and asked people to keep his family out of it. I never brought it up again. But it is very telling he couldn’t show the same respect he asked for to the Pelosi family.

Memorial Day started in 1865 when black residents of Charleston, SC exhumed mass graves of Union soldiers, gave them proper burial and had a parade to celebrate them. It’s a day for us to remember + honor generations of Americans who have given their lives to protect our freedom.
