    In yet another leap for @makeinindia initiative, Titagarh Firema, an Indian multinational based close to Kolkata has won an international bid from Pune Metro for supply of 102 Aluminium bodied Metro Rail coaches which will be manufactured for the first time in India.

    Great news for country’s most popular tourist city of Taj that Hon’ble Apex Court has allowed Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation to implement Agra Metro project. I am personally delighted as I served Agra as District Magistrate in 1996-1998 & am Chairman of the Metro Company.

    Shri Vineet Narain’s organisation Braj Foundation has also done some amazing work by successfully restoring the pauranik Ram Tal in Vrindavan. This tal has the distinction of being the tapasthali of Subhari Rishi who lived around 2900 years ago.

    Works to refurbish/ redevelop Central Vista Avenue are progressing at swift speed. Citizens will witness the prestigious Republic Day Parade of 75th year of Indian Independence at this world class avenue. I inspected the status of works on site yesterday.
