    Yesterday, after an 18 month investigation, the NYT revealed the President of the United States committed hundreds of millions of dollars of tax fraud - possibly one of the biggest scandals in the history of the Presidency - and 24 hours later we're no longer talking about it.

    Over the holidays I had a slight accident. The wait times were: Emerg: 30 min (Xmas Eve) Surgery: same night Follow up X-ray: 20 min Surgical consult: 10 min 2nd surgery: same morning Cdn healthcare system deserves some criticism but it’s there when you need it. And it’s free.

    Only 15% of Cdns live outside of their province of birth We are more likely to vacation abroad than in another province From Toronto, it's cheaper to fly to Miami than Saskatoon No wonder we can't sell beer to each other, we're a nation of strangers.

    This speech is incredible. It is totemic - a perfect distillation of the frustration, rage, and grief of this age. It will quite likely be included in all the history books (if they still exist).
