- I’m not having 25 weeks of distancing from people to walk into school and teach kids from 192 different households... in close proximity... on day one... without a mask.
- Where are the parents??? Honestly!!! Sort your kids out… they’re YOUR responsibility. Yours!!!
- I think politicians forget that teachers are actually people... We have our own families and everything. I actually don’t want to work longer days, weekends or have a shorter summer break because I actually want to spend some time with my own kids. Selfish, I know! 🙄
- MPs on 40k holidays ignoring calls whilst Chris Whitty works on covid wards… actions speak louder than words.
- I’m 33 years old, I’m married, I’m a father of 4, I’m a teacher and I have three degrees… yet my mum still says “careful you don’t spill that” every time I pick a drink up.
- So we are just accepting around 200 deaths and 30,000+ cases a day as normal now? Is that what’s happening?
- Daughters primary school had prom last night then sent all the girls who’d had their nails done home from school today. Honestly the mind boggles 🙄
- People who aren’t teachers just don’t understand how truly exhausting a full days teaching is.
- Gav: ‘Far too many teachers are leaving the profession.” Also Gav: “parents please report teachers to Ofsted during a pandemic.” Gav again: “Schools are safe, we’ll sue you if you go online.” Gav’s mate Rishi: “Here’s a pay freeze for all your hard work.” It’s a mystery. 🤷♂️
- The police are obviously waiting for a real threat… like a gang of women… armed with flowers… holding a candle lit vigil.
- I’m so glad my work clothes still fit.. when I say ‘work clothes’ I mean my tie... my tie still fits.
