On Sunday I said that when Reform wins elections they let people down. I didn’t expect to be proven right only 24hrs later. Essex voters won’t be fooled again. Reform is not a serious party of government, at any level.

It’s quite simple - if Labour publish the Defence Investment Plan when Parliament is not sitting, it will be a gross insult to our democracy and a shameful attempt to avoid scrutiny.

At PMQs just now Starmer refused to rule out tax rises to fund defence. But as @KemiBadenoch just said, this is because he is too weak to do what everyone knows has to be done - cut welfare to fund Defence.
