Ministers claimed they didn’t know the damage their changes to business rates would do. That’s not an excuse. If you’re a Minister making a decision on tax, you’re given analysis on what it’ll do. Labour either didn’t listen or didn’t care: full U-turn now.

They're not even hiding it: they've proudly published a read-out this afternoon. This brand new Labour quango has barely been around for a few months and it's already more focused on immigrants than our own young people. Labour just don't understand the job's crisis their tax
