There's a special sort of outraged idiocy happening on twitter today. Can you feel the breeze?

US citizens do not have to carry proof of citizenship. US citizens do not have to prove their citizenship. US citizens have a constitutional right to be left alone.
Another day, another video of ICE unlawfully demanding that a U.S. citizen “prove” their citizenship in the Chicago area. Reminder: In Illinois, U.S. citizens are not required to carry ID. Demanding proof of citizenship… or detaining anyone for not having it… is illegal.

Justices don't serve the president who appointed them. They serve the law.
Amy Coney Barrett turning against the guy who gave her her dream job is the most predictable heel turn in the world. Has anyone ever compared which party’s SC justices rule more often against the president who nominated them? And why it seems likes it’s always the

At some point in the future, historians will note that Mitch McConnell's refusal to vote to impeach was the most critical failure of the Republican Party and the United States of America.
Seriously folks, Pres. Trump has the GOP openly celebrating high taxes and pen and phone governance. Anyone anywhere who ever called themselves conservative should be horrified about what's been done to the party. The time to speak and take our party back is now.

Kinda makes one think we're not nearly as awful as some say, and we don't appreciate our freedom as much as we should.
Protestors in Hong Kong are using the American flag and anthem as a symbol of freedom to rally.

How is it possible, after the Terry Moran interview, that anyone can still think Trump isn't suffering from dementia, delusions or being lied to by his sycophantic staff? It's all out in the open. If you don't see it, it's only because you choose not to see it.

The Declaration of Independence was, in part, an indictment of King George III. Anyone moderately familiar with the Declaration of Independence would know this.
Did Hakeem Jeffries just say the Declaration of Independence reads like an INDICTMENT? Did I hear that right?

Did renters think that once the moratorium was over, they would be forgiven the rental payments they didn't make during the pandemic?

For more than 40 years, I got a phone call from my parents, singing the most awful Happy Birthday ever. I mean, the worst singing you ever heard. I got no call yesterday. It occurred to me I will never get a call again. Call your folks if you can.

    99% of Charles Manson's life was non-murderous.
A new report found that 99% of campus protests over Palestine at US colleges have been peaceful, despite remarks from Biden characterizing such demonstrations as violent. @gaoladipo reports on the latest data from @ACLEDINFO: theguardian.com/us-news/live/2…

Never consent to a search. Just don't do it. Ever. Politely decline, but decline. Do not get pressured into consenting. It doesn't create probable cause. It doesn't mean you have something to hide. The cops know this but they hope you don't. Never consent to a search.

Aside: It is amazing how fast the body cam footage comes out when the cops did the right thing and were the good guys.

No amount of bullshit overcomes the indisputable fact that you raided the home of innocent United States citizens.
Wrong. The April 24 Oklahoma ICE operation was a lawful, court-authorized action explicitly targeting a property, that was a hub for human smuggling, not specific individuals, as falsely suggested by media reports. The day prior to the search warrant issuance and the day of the
