Masculinity is being redefined to not include harassing women or bullying people who are different than you. Masculinity is being expanded to a more loving space and if you can’t handle that then you deserve to be left in the past with your hate.

- Watched Impetigore - A compelling horror yarn about a cursed Indonesian village. Dir Joko Anwar uses lighting to lend a hyperreality to the naturalistic setting that rarely detracts from the (overall) gritty realism of the film. A riveting watch from an aesthetic & cultural pov.
