When I went to vote on the first day of early voting last year, the representative who currently holds this seat was at the polling place handing out cards.
When I took the opportunity to tell him how absolutely horrible that was, his response to me was “well we can’t allow exceptions for rape or incest because then everyone will just start claiming it’s rape or incest.”
So I’m taking his job.
