Anyone who has been to the Sistine Chapel knows that taking pictures inside of it is not only strictly prohibited, but also incredibly disrespectful. I’m so embarrassed by our government.

In case you aren’t paying attention to the latest in Texas… She has since been given “permission” to go to her office inside the Capitol building but is still not being permitted to leave the building without a police escort. Reminder: She has broken zero laws.

Texas Republicans have locked Democratic Rep. Nicole Collier inside the state house chamber and refuse to allow her to leave. They are requiring Democrats to sign “permission slips” and have a police escort in order to leave the chamber, and she refuses to sign it.
