Bernie Sanders is currently in Britain and in every interview he does he prefaces his comments with “I don’t know much about politics in this country, but…” and then proceeds to speak more sense then the entire British political class put together.

- Replying to @vonderleyen and @netanyahu"Promoting peace in the Middle East" 🙄 He's literally in favour of ethnic cleansing.
- Streeting’s analysis of Bernie’s role in US politics is inept. When Bernie endorsed Joe Biden, it was in exchange for vast policy concessions. Biden has kept Bernie close and, as a result, has a platform well to the left of the UK Labour Party. He’s been extremely successful.Wes Streeting slams Bernie Sanders for standing with the working class.
- If far-right pro-Apartheid Israeli politicians want to have a go at one of the most popular actresses in the world for just showing a bit of humanity towards an oppressed people, then I think we should welcome this. It shows how bad their judgement is. #freepalestine🇵🇸10 points from Gryffindor for being an antisemite. @EmmaWatson
- Replying to @DavidLammy and @Keir_StarmerAre you proud to be associated with the most dishonest internal campaign our party has ever seen? How do you justify the fact that KS has abandoned literally every pledge he made to steal the votes of Labour members? Is that a legitimate way to take power? Lying?
- Replying to @Keir_StarmerYou literally have the same policies as the Tories.
- This is the best political ad I’ve seen in a long time. Those who want to see a fairer and more prosperous Britain need to get behind @ZackPolanski.⏳ Final week to sign up to the Green Party. 🗳️ Vote for Bold Leadership on August 1st.
00:00 - Replying to @politicalhackukOwen’s point is that Labour have absolutely no plan whatsoever to fix the broken nation. “On we go” with what? Campaigning to take power so it can be wielded for exactly the same purposes as the current government? What’s the point?
- Replying to @SamMezecJsyContrast this to what Starmer has done. He’s alienated vast swathes of his party, including the people with the best policies. Okay, Labour are high in the polls. But it’s not because they’re popular. It’s because the other lot are even worse. This makes long term success hard.
- Replying to @Keir_Starmer“When Boris Johnson was passing dangerous legislation, I was abstaining”.
- History is made. The States of Jersey has voted in favour of introducing Assisted Dying. Amazing ❤️
- There are no words in the English language adequate to convey how honoured and proud I feel right now. I will try to find some over the next few days, but for now THANK YOU.
- Replying to @LordIanAustin and @GaryLinekerA beacon of equality and democracy that doesn’t let gay people get married and bans most Arabs living in the territory they occupy from voting.
- Replying to @lukeakehurst and @frankwrocheBy this logic, he should be expelled as a member entirely. If it’s genuinely about anti-semitism he should be gone altogether. But, of course, your reason is disingenuous. This has nothing to do with anti-semitism and is simply a factional move. Own it.
