Hey @MaldronHotels. I'm being contacted by several people who booked your hotel for the Oasis concert, to say their rooms have just been cancelled and are now back up for three times the price. I'm sure this is a "computer error"... easy to correct. Do the right thing.

Wholesale gas/oil is now below the price is was before Russia invaded the Ukraine. So why aren't the big energy firms reflecting this? Businesses are going to the wall. Families are having to choose to eat or heat. The Gov't urgently needs to intervene.

Right now, in Liverpool. A pilot event to get events back open. No social distancing, no masks, no passports. Progress.

We've just received the Governments response. They have FAILED to introduce any new evidence as to why indoor hospitality cannot open the same day as non essential retail. We'll now be working through the night to take our case to the High Court for a Judicial Review.

    Undecided? A gentle reminder.

Yesterday, the PM Sunak donated 6 boxes of mince pies to front line workers. On the same day, the Mayor of Greater Manchester @AndyBurnhamGM donated 15% of his salary to help tackle homelessness, which he does every month. Compare and contrast....

The media in a frenzy about Sue Grays salary of £170k per year, for one of the most important jobs in the UK. What about the CEO of British Gas, who last year took home £8.2 million, whilst all our bills rocketed? Where's the outrage there?

Every single Hospitality venue across the UK is being crucified or closed by untenable energy bills. Yesterday British Gas posted record profits of £751 million. 10 times the previous year of £72 million. Anyone else angry? Morning @ofgem.

I cannot sit by and allow this Gov't destroy my industry. I'm ready to ruffle some feathers. Tomorrow the fight back begins. Enough is enough.

A pub isn't just about having a pint. In the UK 3.6 million people suffer from chronic loneliness. Pubs are at the heart of our communities. A place for friends and family to come together. Strangers to become friends. We must do all we can to protect them.

**Fact check: We pay 20 times more alcohol duty on a pint in the UK, than they do in Germany. Nothing to celebrate here.
    Celebrating freezing alcohol duty. Cheers!
