- The West Virginia Gamecocks are coming together nicelySources: West Virginia is finalizing a three-year deal to make Zac Alley the school’s new defensive coordinator. He’s been the DC at Oklahoma and worked for Rich Rodriguez as DC at Jacksonville State.
- Rich Rod’s starting salary listed at 3.5 million. I thought he’d get a little more but still, that’s a 250% pay raise over his current salary. Good on ya Coach.

- Well @SSN_JMU we did it!! Obviously our paths have not looked the same whatsoever but we both are going bowling as transition teams! Hope this is just a sign of what’s to come in the years ahead! 🫡
- Some of y’all sitting around moping instead of thanking the man for what he did and looking forward to the future! The foundation for us in FBS and CUSA has been laid and we’ll get the right coach to build upon it! Stop moping!!!
- There are a lot of young fans already mad at Rich Rod for going home for what will probably be a 5-6 million dollar raise. It’s worth noting that with where Jax State is now, it is rare that we will have a coach more than 3-4 years if we are winning the way we expect to.
- Well friends, we have officially reached bowl eligibility. Now we just gotta handle business the rest of the way and hope the bowl games are at least two teams short, since JMU would undoubtedly get the call first. To say we handled business in Year 1 is an understatement!
