Roads are converging and it’s an exciting time to be a JMU fan. Should be a fun ride the next few years as we continue to raise the level of our program. #LevelUp

The Sun Belt has 13 members in 9 states - a few states have 2 members. Sun Belt Presidents have decided it would be prudent to have Louisiana be the state where the Conference has 3 teams and none of those schools are named LSU or Tulane. It’s a bad decision on that basis alone.
Like or retweet if you believe that the NCAA D1 Board of Directors should reconsider and approve the waiver for JMU to fully compete for conference and Bowl eligibility in 2023. #LevelUp
⭐️⭐️⭐️Christian Brown announces his commitment to JMU Basketball via Instagram. Preston Spradlin is 2 for 2 with recruits in this year’s class. Brown is ranked as the best player in Tennessee and joins Preston Fowler in the Dukes’ 2025 class. 🏀🏆 #JMUHoops
Delaware should not have any punitive penalties on the way out of the CAA nor any limits on their way into CUSA. They should be able to compete for championships throughout in cases where they have no advantage scholarship wise.
I realize there is fatigue over the JMU waiver story. Just a reminder that ODU Marshall & So. Miss joined the Sun Belt last year due to court injunctions against Conference USA. Those schools knew the exit rules but they fought them for the betterment of their student athletes.
Seems like from here on out college sports will be a revolving door every year in terms of coaches and players.
That model will only be sustainable for schools and fans of schools in major conferences.
It’s a shame and a real miss by the NCAA and all involved.
I hope Keith Gill is smoking a cigar and sipping some scotch with a big smile on his face. The Sun Belt is the real deal and like a snowball rolling down a steep hill.
One of the benefits of today’s big JMU win is it quiets the negative noise. This program has won for a long time at such a high level and will continue to. There is no reason for toxic fandom. We are blessed to be able to root for the Dukes!
For the JMU knew the rules crowd- if you think JMU took the steps that they did in a vacuum I think you are wrong. The plan to transition quicker was in collaboration with the Sun Belt and there was an expectation that their waiver would be seriously considered by the NCAA.
I’m calling for JMU fans and college football fans to boycott watching the Sun Belt Championship game if it’s the #2 team in the East vs the #1 team in the west. People don’t want to see a fake Championship game.
Calling for a boycott of the Sun Belt Championship game was wrong on my part. Let’s see what happens the rest of the way and if JMU is fortunate enough to be atop the conference in the end. I hope and believe there are opportunities for JMU to compete for the title 🏆 but support
