🚨NEW: King Charles III wants to amend law that decides who can serve as Counsellor of State.
The King wants law changed so that Counsellors must be working members of The Royal Family.
He is thought to want to have the law changed “as soon as he can.”
What have I just read about Meghan at Diana’s grave?
What sort of performance art is this, prostrating yourself on the grave of a woman you never even knew, in front of a man who’s clearly still struggling with her death?
It’s confirmation of the main problem here…
Prince Harry has, in fact, talked about his “right to privacy” the line between personal and public, and wanting a more “peaceful” life.
In 2016 he asked @AndrewMarr9 why the “incessant need” to see “behind the scenes” - ironically the very problem to which he’s now contributed🧵
‘I was scrutinised for such a long time that you just have to find a way to live with it. Nobody likes to be looked at all the time. But I think in the end, I sort of rise above it and get on with it. You’ve got to get on with life.’

Prince Harry “simply doesn't grasp that any obligation which the taxpayer had to help fund his family's life choices ended when he and his wife decided to reject royal duties for profit.”

Prince William, The Prince of Wales, in tribute to his father The King:
"Pa, we are all so proud of you.
I know my grandmother would be a very proud mother."

Someone needs reminded of his grandfather’s quote to @GylesB1
'No one is interested in you in the long run… the attention comes because of the position you are privileged to hold. If you think it's all about you, you'll never be happy.'
~HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh
NEW: People close to the late Queen have shared what dealing with the Sussexes in her final months was like, describing her as “bewildered” and “devastated” - “she became increasingly incredulous at the damage Harry and Meghan appeared willing to inflict on their own family.”
You can barely see him, but this is King Charles III, the Head of State, driving home to Highgrove.
Just two cars, no police outriders, minimum fuss.
Oh - and The King drove himself.
Prince William today:
“I grew up with my father, The King, talking about the power of nature and the importance of harmony in the natural world. A subject he has championed for over five decades. It is a privilege to represent him here today.”

"Harry and Meghan on Netflix feels like 3 hours trapped at an awful dinner party, with a couple who can’t stop talking about themselves, and insist on showing every photo they have.
This is not a documentary, it's a massive invasion of their own privacy."
