Jake Delhomme literally saved the franchise. There was no QB plan in place with Rodney Peete and Chris Weinke the incumbents going into 2003. He took the team to a SB and 2 NFC title games over the next few years. God bless Jake Delhomme
Panthers QBs ranked by wins (Min. 10 starts) Cam Newton: 68-60-1 Jake Delhomme: 53-37 Steve Beuerlein: 23-28 Kerry Collins: 22-20 Rodney Peete: 8-7 Sam Darnold: 8-9 Matt Moore: 7-6 Kyle Allen: 6-7 Teddy Bridgewater: 4-11 Bryce Young: 2-16 Chris Weinke: 2-17 Jimmy Clausen: 1-9

    1. I was informed last week by ESPN Radio that I will not be retuning as their Voice of College football & hoops. Budget cuts I was told was the reason. It was a great ten year run for me that also included calling the NFL, golf and even one NBA game with Dr. Jack.

October 15th is the 25th anniversary of the @Panthers first win in the NFL. They beat the Jets at Clemson sparked by Sam Mills pick six of a Bubby Brister shovel pass. It’s a memory still etched in my mind. Happy 25th Panthers fans. RIP Sam Mills

Here’s college footballs biggest issue, besides it’s targeting rule. Going into Sunday there are 18 NFL teams, yes 18, still with a chance to play in the SB. In CFB there might be six or seven teams with a legit chance to win the Natty when the season starts.

It seems @Panthers owner David Tepper spent more time with the media today than Jerry Richardson did 23 years.

Jerry Richardson story. Media day at SB 38 ends and Jerry sees my wife and I on the field & walks over. He asks “do you have any dinner plans tonight” We both say, no we don’t. Jerry says “well Rosalind and I are having dinner with Bob Kraft and his wife” He then walked away.

How about my grandson @AndrewRosinski2 getting his official visit from @UNCFootball HC Mack Brown and OLine coach Randy Clements. He will be a Tar Heel in January

So proud of my grandson who has worked very hard for this opportunity. Now I’ve got to see how I look in Tarheel blue.

Long time Panthers have experienced this despair before. See final game of 2001 season. 10 thousand in the seats, 8 thousand were Patriots fans. 1-15. Seifert was fired the next day. John Fox hired that off season. There is always hope.

They don’t need to waste any explosives, just fly in Matt Rule and have him enter the building and watch it implode.
Crews will blast away remnants of the uncompleted Carolina Panthers facility in York County on Tuesday. wcnc.com/article/sports…

So I understand the person who was mainly responsible for telling ownership that the Panthers should get rid of me was escorted out of the building yesterday. David Tepper is off to a good start.
