- Saddened by the reports on the passing of Cedric Benson. We’ve coached a lot of tough players but none were tougher than Cedric. He was a true spirit. Our thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family on this sad day.

- Hard to believe we lost Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and the other people killed in the helicopter crash. Kobe was one of the greatest and most competitive athletes to ever play sports. My heart goes out to his wife, his three other daughters and the other families. So sad.
- There’s been a lot of talk this week about our battles with FSU and Coach Bowden. I have so much respect for him. Glad to hear he’s out of the hospital and doing well. Also, how about those shirts? 😱
