- Can you pass, dribble, defend and shoot? A 2 1/2 minute highlight video with 5 breakaway dunks and 4 free throws won’t answer that question.
- If you are transferring from Juco to Juco you are not “ entering the transfer portal” . The Njcaa does not have a “ transfer portal” . You are just transferring.
- Grad Transfers, D1 lateral transfers, D2 transfers, Juco transfers, juco sophomores, Post Grad players and Seniors in HS. If you think there are a lot of scholarships out there , do the math...
- Western Oklahoma State, Sophomore guard, Dylan O’Hearn, has committed to NJIT. Dylan is a first team All Region and All Conference selection who led Region 2 scoring with 23.1 ppg.
- The lifespan of a college coach seems to be shorter these days. Recruit Junior College players. Ready play right away. Production vs College players not HS. Physically mature and adept at fast paced level of play. Take the “ potential” out of recruiting and go for production.
- RIP Marcos “Shakey” Rodriguez , a giant in Miami Dade County Basketball and trailblazer as the first Cuban American NCAA 1 Head Coach (FIU). Coaches like Shakey and the late Cesar Odio (Barry) paved the way for Cuban American head college coaches like myself.
