    My neighbor Rusty sadly died suddenly last year. His widow moved away & said her husband wanted me to have their snow blower. I guess he knew I would need it this winter. It was brand new. I don’t think he ever used it. Awesome gift. Thanks Rusty #RIP

    BREAKING: Indiana’s all-time winningest HS football coach, Larry “Bud” Wright, has submitted his resignation letter after 59 years as the head coach at Sheridan. Wright (84) tells me the administration gave him an ultimatum to resign or be fired. 463-219 career record. @WTHRcom

    This is Robin Matthews of Indy. Her white Chevy Cruze she calls “snowball” was the car hit by the wheel that flew over the fence in a crash at #Indy500. The car had to be towed. @IMS President @jdouglas4 brought her to the yard of bricks & getting her a ride home. #TrackTeam13

    UPDATE: Robin Matthews now has 2023 Chevy Equinox after her “Snowball” 2012 Cruze was totaled being hit by flying wheel from crash during #Indy500. @IMS President @jdouglas4 sent her home after race in this. She loved it & got to keep it, now “Snowball 2”. Her 1st ever new car.

    Getting airborne in a stock car is scary and dangerous. But the hit Newman’s car took from another car right in the driver’s door after landing is the bigger concern. #DAYTONA500

    I believe @DerekDaly500 losing his job in 2018 over using a racial slur in ignorance over 30 years ago was an overreaction. His son @ConorDaly22 losing his @LillyDiabetes @NASCAR sponsorship over something his father said before Conor was born is completely ridiculous.

    Wright was suspended for one week/game this past season for what he says were accusations of verbal abuse of a player. Wright actually turns 84 later this month. He led the Blackhawks to 9 state championships. Wrights says he may not be done coaching football in some capacity.

    The last time #Purdue went to the #FinalFour, I was a 5th grader and my Dad (a Purdue alum) took me to the games at Market Square Arena. Today I’m celebrating #Easter & watched the game with my Dad that sends the #Boilermakers back to the Final Four for the 1st time in 44 years.

    After 16 years, 3 governors, 142 miles, & over $4 billion - I-69 from Evansville to Indianapolis has reached the finish line. This is the new interchange where I-69 meets I-465 on the southwest side of Indianapolis.

    Today marks 25 years for me at @WTHRcom. They didn’t give me a car for the occasion. I coincidentally started driving news unit 25 this year when I travel Central Indiana telling stories. Blessed & grateful to have spent half my life at a great 📺 station in my hometown.

    Few stories I have told or people I have interviewed have impacted me like @theTylerTrent. I’ve worn his bracelet everyday since I met him. I believe in the message. So even in his passing, I’m joyful, prayerful & give thanks that Tyler accomplished so much in so little time.
