- 49 years ago yesterday my uncle lost his life trying to save Mrs Nichol, My late grand-parents came home to a dead son, another son and two daughters seriously injured. #gonebutnotforgotten#OnThisDay in 1973 the IRA murdered Raymond McAdam, 20. Catholic murdered trying save Protestant shop owner opposite home, Newtownbutler. Murderers threw bomb from passing car. 68 yr old he’d been going to warn injured & attended inquest where coroner quoted John 15:13 #OTD

- This is sickening and we’re seeing far too much of it in our #citycentre. Raised the effectiveness of #OperationCitizen with the @GardaTraffic on Tuesday given my concern the initiative has lessened in its impact. Will be following up further with Minister @HMcEntee on Monday.
- Another incident tonight in #GeorgesDock involving gangs from both sides of the city. A substantial @GardaTraffic is needed as a stabbing took place earlier this week during a similar incident. Sooner or later, someone will be killed, if this situation isn’t brought to heel. 1/2
