It is with great sadness to inform you that, HMS Caledonia - Commanding Officer and Chief of Staff for the Naval Regional HQ, Scotland and Northern Ireland, Commander Bob Hawkins RN MBE passed away over the weekend.

Divers from the @RoyalNavy Northern Diving Group have dived down to the wreck of HMS Royal Oak to perform the solemn task of replacing the White Ensign. The warship lies at rest at Scapa Flow in #Orkney, sunk on Oct 14, 1939, after coming under attack from German U-Boat U-47.
