    #Coronavirus lockdown meant Alex had to cancel his 8th birthday party. Alex never complained and knew he had to #StayHomeSaveLives. We found out where he walked for his daily exercise and surprised him. Happy Birthday Alex. We are all in this together. #staysafe

    Following community concerns, today @EdinPolNE community officers were at Leith Walk at London Road. No road users attempted the no left turn during the officers presence. Many members of the community stopped to speak with the officers to discuss local and wider topics.

    Officers from the Leith Community Policing Team stopped and seized a beer bike on Leith Walk, around 11.20am on Saturday, 16 March, 2024, following safety concerns and road traffic offences. We are aware of ongoing community concerns and further enquiries are ongoing. #NECPT

    #NEST Special Constables and @Edinburgh_CCParking Attendants conducted joint patrols of the Leith Walk area today. A number of contraventions were identified and dealt with accordingly. Parking on pavements is unacceptable and enforcement action will continue. #Leith #RoadSafety

    A male was stopped tonight riding an electric scooter on a road in #Leith. He was charged with a number of traffic offences including driving whilst disqualified. The scooter was seized. Please note the only place you can use a e-scooter is on private land with permission #NECPT
