    The crew of a @RoyalNavy helicopter from #824NAS who acted swiftly today to rescue a capsized kayaker, who made a mayday call on his radio off Coverack #Cornwall. By lucky coincidence these guys were in #Falmouth Bay doing search and rescue training at the time. @FirstSeaLord

    It was a special moment for helicopter pilot and instructor Lt Cdr Stu Millen, who is retiring from the @RoyalNavy after 36 years, when he shared his final flight with his son Lt Jack Millen. He's clocked more than 6,600 flying hours on 23 different aircraft types & roles #BZ

    Helicopter pilot Lt Cdr Andrew ‘Tank’ Murray recently clocked in excess of a year in the air; a staggering 8,760 hours- more than any other regular member of the @RoyalNavy Including 8 years search and rescue, 5 tours of Afghanistan & Iraq. Now with #824NAS An amazing achievement

    Equality: Husband and wife @RoyalNavy officers Nick and Fran Allen met at @DartmouthBRNC, commissioned together, serve at Culdrose, take turns caring for their children (so the other can go to sea) & will now become lieutenant commanders in the autumn. @faaoa @navy_women #820NAS

    Aircraft engineers from RNAS Culdrose dismantled a car to catch a stray kitten hiding on the air station. @Leonardo_UK engineer Adam Hughes led the rescue of 8-week-old ‘Fergie’. She has since been cared for at the #Cornwall Adoption Centre of @CatsProtection @CPMediaTeam
