    Can you spot the friendly sub in this video? Of course you can! It’s when they’re deep underwater that our crews use the Merlin helicopter to it’s full capability to protect @HMSQNLZ and @RoyalNavy ships. Looking forward to embarking again soon.

    SUB HUNT We’ve been up against HNoMS Utstein. Her mission: sink @HMSQNLZ. Our mission: stop her. The exercises tested our crews’ efficiency, skill and tactical decision making. We also got to stretch our legs fighting alongside @RoyalAirForce P8 Poseidons. #UKCSG23 #FLYNAVY

    CAMOUFLAGE A great shot highlighting differences in camouflage. HMNoS Utstein is designed to blend in to the dark sea when just under the surface at periscope depth. We are hoping to be lost in amongst grey waves and grey skies while flying at 30-150 feet. #UKCSG23 #FLYNAVY

    FIREDRAKE COMPLETE Half of the squadron has returned to homeplate @RNASCuldrose after a couple of months at sea aboard @HMSQNLZ and @hms_kent. We look forward to some time at home with our families and to welcoming our comrades back from their time aboard @HMSPWLS.
