- Sorry, but I am not going to be upset that the PM’s kids stayed at a friends’ house to keep them away from the limelight during the election campaign and let one of them focus on their exams. Grow up.
- Repeat after me, slowly: there is no money saved from cancelling HS2, so it can’t be reallocated. The funding was borrowing against future HS2 ticket revenue…
- Have had two kids go through state schools, and spent a decade on academy trust boards. - Like every Chief Exec in the country, I am currently wondering where to find the money to pay more NI to the Government when we should be investing for growth… Switching from taxing Labour to Capital, allegedly. By raising a tax on Labour. Which is already the biggest biz tax.
- Why? Reading have already been fined points in three successive seasons, and the failures are personal to the owner - not the club. The club ceased overspending years ago - they are getting no sporting advantage. Why the sporting penalty?The EFL wanted #readingfc to be deducted four points immediately, not two.
