Never forget the more importantly critical element to all this. That the western branch of their own studio tried to sabotage DOA5, by feeding the devs false information about consumer interests and content preferences. We countered this with direct respectful feedback letters.

The only reason they like the POS version of Amber is because she's black. If they kept her white, but still rewrote her as a POS, that person would hate her too. That's probably why they race swapped her in the 1st place, to give themselves cover to write her as a shitty GF.

Unfortunately I've had discussions with many "woke" individuals. This satire isn't nearly extreme enough, it actually undersells just how racist these people are. I say this as a "person of color" myself, who is routinely talked down to by these people, because of my ethnicity.

Red Faction set an impossible standard for destruction physics for me. No game since Red Faction has ever scratched that demolition itch the way this series did. It's ASTOUNDING to me that no FPS/TPS game has even bothered attempting it since.
