    Why were the authorities spraying disinfectants on undocumented migrants during the operation last night? What is the purpose of doing so? Won't that be harmful to their health? I hope @KKMPutrajaya @DrAdhamBaba @DGHisham can advise them properly.

    Large-scale nationwide sanitisation exercise begins today. There goes resources that could be better channelled elsewhere. Here are a few just of the top off my head. 1. PPE 2. High flow nasal cannulas 3. Ventilators 4. O2 sat meters 5. Food for volunteers

    This is beyond terrible. Time to get the conversation and work on abolishing the death penalty going again 🇲🇾.It is always those who are desperate and at the bottom end of the chain that pays the price. It hasn’t and will never solve the drug problem.

    I feel compelled to respond to this letter here. My husband and I decided to return to Malaysia after years of studying and working in Australia and even gaining a PR there, to be with my parents and relatives, to start a family here so that the children will grow up Malaysians,

    “Ex-Malaysians” who write anonymous letters to the editor from abroad are cowards. If you believe in something, put your name to your opinion, especially when you don’t face any ramifications, unlike civil servants here who are still trying to fight the good fight.

    The risk of getting COVID-19 outdoors is ~18x lower than indoors. Please let the Rakyat continue to jog, cycle, play football or any other outdoor sports for the sake of our physical and mental health.

    Why are malls and universities closing down as soon as there is 1-2 reported COVID19 positive cases in their vicinity? Let’s stop the hysteria and get back to basics - Contact trace close contacts as defined by > 15 mins encounter < 1 M apart in a closed space.

    We need to take a lesson from what’s happening over in Melbourne. All it took was one small spark from the quarantine hotel and now the whole city is back in lockdown. There’s no letting up yet Malaysians.

    No, the answer is No. Stay put wherever you are. The whole idea of this Restricted Movement Order is to...... restrict movement... to minimise human contact that can spread the virus. Social distancing is the fancy term for it.

    Wow is this truly necessary? It’s thrown our specialist professional exams, clinics and operating theatre schedule all helter skelter. IMHO we really don’t need this, especially not at a time when we have so much catching up to do as a result of COVD-19.

    Malu, sakit, takut were the reasons most ladies in Selangor & Kelantan we recently met gave as reasons why they have never had a Pap smear in their lives. (>80% had never had one) Community engagement & HPV self testing is the way forward to eliminate cervical cancer.
