    I was there this morning & I felt the strong patriotic spirit among Malaysians. I would like to express my deep appreciation to all the brilliant talented artists with their extraordinary skills & artworks. It goes to show that everyone has a role in this pandemic crisis

    Sudah terang lagi bersuluh setiap hari Kementerian Kesihatan mengingatkan rakyat Malaysia untuk patuh kepada SOP untuk penjarakan selamat sekurang-kurangnya 1 meter, memakai pelitup separuh muka dan kerap cuci tangan. Sedih bila melihat keadaan begini tiada kawalan kendiri.

    Not long ago many were unhappy with my tweet when I mentioned the number of healthcare workers (HCW) infected after full vaccination. Yes you can still be infected after full vaccination but less in severity, less in hospital admission and death.

    A reminder to all, many places are opening because of economy & not because it is safe. Please keep that in mind; please wear a mask, double masks if possible, practice physical distancing & frequent hand washing. Avoid crowded & confined spaces. Stay safe & get vaccinated asap.

    This morning I managed to squeeze in some time to perform thyroidectomy for a Rt dominant multinodular goitre. Indeed it was refreshing to be in the OT again to calm my withdrawal symptoms & meet all my OT staff. I was briefed the flow & SOP for surgery of all COVID-19 patients
