I saw a guy on YouTube do it for a Warhammer Mini once. It was one of the few times I had my jaw actually drop. The answer btw was: paint the skin normally first then use layers of very thinned paint

It makes perfect sense in fact. This deepends on firearm but let's consider a pistol or musket vs gladius or shortsword. If you shoot someone in the arm you make a hole, if you cut it with a sword you chop of the arm. What is deadly about guns is the conzentration of force. If
