    I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that the President of the United States was completely MIA while the next three individuals in the line of succession (VP, Speaker of House, Senate Pres Pro Tempore) were under assault in the Capitol. Unconscionable.

    Tonight @RepLizCheney faced four hours of blistering criticism and didn’t yield an inch. We may not always agree on policy but I respect the hell out of leaders like Liz who are unyielding in defense of their convictions.

    I’m awestruck by the brilliance of Israel’s beeper bombs. Hezbollah is in utter panic and can’t respond because thousands of mid/senior leaders are wounded and their ability to communicate has been literally incinerated. All with minimal civilian casualties. (1/2)

    While graphic and violent, most Republicans have already found ways to dismiss or deflect the Jan. 6 invasion as Antifa, actors in a hoax, or maybe a tiny band of misguided, overzealous Trump supporters. And virtually none of them willing to connect any of this to President Trump
