- Very sad news emerging this morning of the death of Fr Joseph Mallin. The last child of any of the leaders of the 1916 Rising. He visited his father Michael at Kilmainham Gaol the night before his execution (May 8th). Fr Joseph was born in the 13th of September 1913.

00:00 - A journey I used to make a lot in my @dublincityfm days, but it was my first chance to try the Liffey Cycle Route from Heuston Station to O’Connell Bridge today Brilliant, did it in just over 6 minutes - faster than the Luas! Keep up the good work @dublincycling @DubCityCouncil
00:00 - In #Wexford alone, over a billion has been spent on bypasses in 15 years All the while, railway services to #Waterford are suspended (10 years now), while there is talk of doing the same to the service south of Gorey #ClimateEmergencyIn 2010, 60km of the N3 was upgraded to M3 at a cost of €1bn. Recently, we widened 14km of the M7 at a cost of €120m. Where did we think all the additional cars were going to go when they got to the city?
00:00- First time in #Dublin for a very long time, and I’m frustrated to see that one thing certainly hasn’t changed. Hopefully the first of the Green’s daily foothpaths and cycling millions sorts out Eden Quay #cycling @dublincycling
