- Dublin City Council have voted to make Capel Street traffic-free from next month 🥳🎉
- Luas Ticket Inspectors have no remit or right to 1) Withhold a persons property 2) Assault them over at most €4 fare The penalty for travelling without a valid ticket is €100. The penalty for illegal parking can be as little as €40 No excuse
- At 11am today, Capel Street will become permanently traffic-free. This will create a pedestrian area larger than Henry Street or Grafton Street. Huge thanks to everyone who made this possible.A new dawn on Capel Street
- New fares just dropped! The 90 min fare will be reduced to €2 across all modes from 9 May. The Young Adult (19-23) and student 90 min fare will be just €1. You could travel from Maynooth to Bray for €1! 🚉🚌
- It's insane that we let cars into Luas tracks and block them
- Person in a car taking up most of the space on a narrow street accuses people sharing the remaining space of being irresponsible.
- Dublin Bus has officially callled for free public transport for everyone under the age of 18. They want to instil in the next generation that public transport is the default choice
- Most of the on-street parking spaces in Drumcondra village have been turned into outdoor dining spaces. Good to see some changes outside the city centre.
- If you’re left stranded in Dublin this weekend, with all the crowds attending gigs, Pride and matches, remember that @dublinbusnews decided to ignore reality and not adjust their service. We need better.Hi Niamh, there will be no additional services on our fleet.

00:00 - South Dublin CoCo are now *intentionally* oncoming cycle traffic into each other. *Intentionally* obstructing a footpath, making wheelchair access more difficult. Pedestrians and cyclists FORCED to slow down for the crossing. Cars not. This isnt safety. This is an absurdity.
- This was done after numerous complaints including from wheelchair users feeling like prisoners in their own homes on matchdays. Simple cost of living hack: if you don't break the law, you won't have to pay fines. 💸
