    *FALLING IGUANAS* possible this weekend in Southwest Florida as the coldest air of the season moves in Sunday morning. We have a pretty sizable iguana population from Sanibel to Cape Coral to Naples. Locally, lows will dip into the 40s, wind chills in the 30s by sunrise. 🥶🦎

    Turns out this morning's closure of US 97 north of Kent was due to a banana truck fire. We're very grateful that everyone is okay, and personally, I'm a little surprised to share that this is the third flaming banana truck of my career. 😮

    Say you’re driving and when a large tree begins to fall...you catch it all on your #dashcam. 😮 That’s what happened yesterday to one of our incident responders. #Thankful one was hurt! @ORStatePolice and a logging crew helped this not become an hours-long traffic incident.

    This #ToyStory was found on SB I-5 at #BurnsideBridge. We think they may have been on their way to Pizza Planet, but we're not exactly sure how they got there. Crews have taken them to our north #Portland maintenance yard for care, cuddles and feeding. #PDXtraffic

    Our crews from the Gorge sent these pics. Underneath there is I-84. 😳 I-84 remains closed EB and WB from MP 17 near #Troutdale to MP 64 near #HoodRiver due to extreme winter weather including whiteout conditions & multiple crashes. Expect a lengthy closure. #orwx #pdxtst

    #Portland & the #ColumbiaRiverGorge could get up to half an inch of ice. Be aware: We're preparing to close I-84 in the Gorge before conditions become unsafe to prevent motorists from getting stranded in the ice. #orwx #pdxtst
    A toppled over semi and a yellow Volkswagon Bug slid off into an embankment along I-84 in the Columbia River Gorge show why drifting snow, ice, fallen trees and slick conditions all contributed to the closing of the interstate between Troutdale and Hood River during a January storm in 2017.
