- I've never seen a family size chicken for £2. You would need tatties, gravy, veg and roasting tray. You need bread, butter and/or mayo for sandwiches. You also need a cooker, money for gas/electric, seasoning and store cupboard essentials, crockery, cutlery, utensils etc

- I grew up in a mining village. The heroin explosion of the 80s is linked to the mass closing of heavy industry by Thatcher, with no jobs to replace those lost. We are still paying the price today.

- Note to Secondary School Headteachers: Please do not send letters to parents about our kids failing to turn up in full uniform. Our kids are stressed enough as it is, they've outgrown their uniform and shoes and parents have enough on their plate without dealing with this shit.
