- Today in India, Jinnah’s Two Nation Theory won by a landslide.
- These are Muslims sitting inside a Hindu temple in Ghotki, Sindh. They spent the night there to make sure no fanatical mob is able to attack the place. Some schemers have tried to pollute Sindh with bigoted ideas, but the traditional Sindhi ethos of tolerance has remained strong.
- Indian media declares that 1986 Sharjah Cup final was actually won by India. Miandad’s last ball 6 was caught at the boundary by then 13-yr-old Arnab Goswami who just happened to be flying there in an IAF Mig.
- Compared to Shashi Tharoor’s angry, downbeat and whiny team, the Pakistan delegation is looking confident, upbeat and on the right side of history.
- Pak deserved a place in semis, more than NZ. I disagree with Mr. Raja that team needs ‘major changes.’ It played brilliantly at the backend of the event. Yes, time to say goodbye to Hafeez & Malik, but team was as good as at least 2 semifinalists - NZ and Eng. Well played, lads.

- I guess all that yoga has done nothing to give you any self-awareness.
