It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of active duty Officer Michael Geraldi. “Mikey G”, was the type of guy you wanted to be around if you were having a bad day because he was guaranteed to change that! Please keep his family & friends in your 🙏 @NYPDHousing

Thanks to the enormous bravery of these officers someone will be able to see another ball drop. A few minutes before 2023 these officers received a call of an emotionally disturbed person about to jump off a 27fl roof. Happy to say she was transported to the hospital to get help!

Indeed, we are grateful. I want to wish one of NY’s Finest a speedy recovery. @NYPDHousing @NYPDHBM
The NYPD is extremely grateful today to see our officer, who was shot while off-duty, leave the hospital. A well-deserved round of applause surrounded by fellow Finest as he goes home to continue his recovery.

Earlier this week, PSA4 officers responded to multiple calls of a person holding a gun in his hand. After an hours long investigation and a little help from the community, officers were able to locate and safely apprehend the culprit. Can you guess if this gun is real or fake?

25 years ago today, Brian Jones was killed in the line of duty while attempting to apprehend a robbery suspect. Brian lost his life doing what he enjoyed the most; serving the people of NYC. Thanks to everyone for their support & solidarity in remembering our fallen brother.

We will #neverforget Police Service Area 4 Detective Harold J. Marshall who suffered a fatal heart attack while chasing a felon in 1971. Marshall had served @NYPDHousing for just under ten years and was assigned to the Detective Squad. May he rest in eternal peace. @NYCPDDEA
