Approved ✅ @NYCCouncil just approved the City’s first ELURP application for 351 Powers Avenue in the Bronx, helping fast-track 84 affordable homes, including 30 homes for formerly homeless New Yorkers. What once could’ve taken up to 7 months was completed in just 90 days.

What’s better than a new library? A new library AND affordable housing. 📚🏠 Today, HPD and Brooklyn Public Library announced the next step in the New Utrecht Library project, which could bring 200–300 affordable homes and a brand-new library to Bensonhurst.

.@NYCMayor is in Harlem at an affordable home ownership project and touting his “block by block” housing plan announced a few weeks back. Seems he’s taking “block by block” on a bit of a tour - he was in Astoria two weeks ago talking about it
