Tropical Storm #Cristina near the coast of El Salvador is also aiding in the development of showers and thunderstorms across much of the western Caribbean and the SW Gulf. Surface troughs analyzed in these regions are acting as forcing mechanisms with enhanced moisture in place.

00:00 - 🍋Morning Tropical Update (06/10) - A broad area of low pressure may develop over the Bay of Campeche late this week. Conditions aren't favorable for significant development. It should move inland over eastern Mexico this weekend. Formation chance through 7 days: LOW (10%).
- A low risk of rip currents today at Alabama and western Florida beaches will be followed by a Moderate Risk from Thursday through the weekend. Remember, rip currents are possible even with a low risk. Always swim near a lifeguard!
