Another dry day before moisture begins to sneak across northern AZ starting Friday. Only a few cloud buildups on Friday but over the weekend, look for showers/thunderstorms scattered around the area. The first taste of our coming monsoon, let's hope it's a good one. #azwx

Gusty winds will continue today but not quite as strong as on Tuesday. Temperatures will be on the warm side, downright hot at lower elevations. Dry conditions will combine with those gusty winds for elevated fire danger. Lighter winds and a nicer day is set for Thursday. #azwx
