    90 year old Annie Innes, from Lanarkshire, became the first care home resident in Scotland to receive the Covid-19 vaccination this morning.

    We have received our most recent delivery of protective equipment (PPE) at our central stores. 17 pallets containing masks and eye-wear, aprons and gloves and hand sanitiser. Ready for onward distribution to all sites – acute hospitals, primary care, GPs and out of hours centres.

    Staff @wearehairmyres said a fond farewell to Neil McLaughlin who is believed to have had the longest stay in an intensive care unit in Scotland with COVID-19 (167 days). Neil thanks staff on his discharge home after a total of 195 days at the hospital.
